Changing the color on Twenty Ten menu bar background and menu text

    I’m quite new to CSS and have been monkeying around trying to get this right. I’m building a new site and want to be able to replace the black menu bar around the header in Twenty Ten with white or clear instead of the default black, and then adjust the text of the menu items, either to black or gray.

    I would also love some guidance in how to move the header image up, so I can get rid of the top line of the border, in case I want to change the color to grey, or something other than clear; the border below the header image isn’t so bad, but I would love to get rid of the line above the image.

    All the backgrounds, and the font colors are going to be under #access something. Go through the CSS and look at the #access stuff. Tab font colors will be under “color” declarations. Background colors for the nav bar and background colors for the individual tabs will be under “background” declarations. Hover colors will have “hover” in the selectors.

    Here’s an example for you to work with which should help:

    #access {background:#fff;}
    #access a {color:#777;}
    #access ul li.current_page_item a {color:#222!important;}
    #access li:hover a, #access ul ul:hover a {background:transparent; color:#777; text-decoration:underline;}

    #branding h1, #branding div {display:none;}
    #branding img {border:none;}
