Changing the color scheme at the top of a downloaded theme

I recently downloaded the “clean-and-simple” theme. It’s perfect for what I’m needing. The only thing I’m looking to change is the color scheme at the top. Currently, it’s a darker grey and then it goes to a lighter shade and then eventually to white – which is the body of the blog.

I’m looking to change that to a darker blue, that fades in to a lighter blue, then lighter, then gray, then eventually to the white – just for the top part where the header is.

I’ve combed through the theme editor and cannot seem to figure out how to do that. Is it possible?

    Thanks!

Sorry, you are in the wrong forum and need to head over to http://wordpress.ORG/support/ as that is where self-hosted wordpress blogs using the software from wordpress.ORG are supported.

These forums are for those hosted here on the wordpress.COM free hosting service and things here work differently and our answers typically will not work for you.
