changing the colour of 'blog at wordpress.com. Portfolio Theme'
-
Hi
Please could you help us change the colour of our ‘Blog at wordpress.com. Portfolio Theme’ text?
I understand that removing this text is a violation of the terms of service and do not intend to do that. I was just asking on the wordpress chat and was referred to the CSS customisation forum to ask for help. WordPress staff explained that, as long as the text is still readable. We would like to change the text to grey colour.
Many thanks :)

Hi, we need to use two rules to do this due to the structure of the HTML in Portfolio. The first rule turns everything a light grey and the second then brings back the darker color to your links above.
footer[role="contentinfo"] a, div.copyright { color: #bbbbbb; } footer[role="contentinfo"] div.copyright p, div.copyright p a { color: #1c1c1c !important; } -
This is changing the properties of all the links in the footer, not just the “blog at wordpress…” info. Any way to single just that part out?

Hi @ivanblv, CSS is theme specific and you are using a different theme than discussed in this thread, so can I ask you to create a new thread in the CSS Forum? Many thanks in advance.

Hi
Thanks very much for letting me know how to do this. We’ve pasted that code into our CSS customiser and that’s working just how we’d like it to work.
Job done!
Thanks again
