Changing the Directory of WordPress

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hello,

I currently have a WordPress site running on my main domain (ex.: http://www.mydomain.com) and I’m actually working on a new version that I installed in http://www.mydomain.com/newsite so my site can still run while I’m working on it.

What I want to know is when my newsite will be done, can I just Delete everything related to WordPress in my main directory and Copy everything from /newsite to it and everything will work fine?

I just want to make sure before I do anything stupid :)

    Thanks!
