changing the DNS
-
Hi everyone,
I would like to ask about my blog.
Previously, I’m using my own server and I’ve changed the DNS to my server DNS.
Unfortunately, the server I’m using is having a bit problem. So, I’ve just change back my DNS to DNS1.WORDPRESS.COM and DNS2.WORDPRESS.COM.
But, until now, I still can’t get my domain name drmaza.com to be directed back to ssdrmaza.wordpress.com
Can anyone help me?

yes, i did.
Actually, I started creating my website by using wordpress.com. (ssdrmaza.wordpress.com)
Then I’ve purchased the domain upgrade and use the new domain name (drmaza.com).
After that, I pay for my own hosting server and I install wordpress.org and I rebuild my website, (i changed the DNS to my new server)
Now, my server is having a problem, and i want to use back my ssdrmaza.wordpress.com but still maintaining the domain name drmaza.com.
So, what I did is just changed back my dns to DNS1.WORDPRESS.COM and DNS2.WORDPRESS.COM, but it seems that it is not working.
Am I doing it wrongly?

When I rebuild my website using wordpress.com and after I rename my DNS, so I have two different web which is ssdrmaza.wordpress.com and drmaza.com. Both is not connected.
Now, what I want is to redirect back the ssdrmaza.com to drmaza.com.

Thank you to all of you who have helped me. I don’t know how the ‘magic’ works, but it WORKS! (or maybe I need to be a little bit patient for all the ‘magic’ to work through.
I i’m so happy right now! thanks again.
Thank you raincoaster.

You’re welcome. I didn’t do anything: I think staff must have gotten around to making a change or maybe they read this thread and tweaked something.

http://drmaza.com/
is where I go when I click your blog name. Which is odd because the DNS is wrong:
damza.com. 43200 IN NS ns1.flexwebhosting.nl.
damza.com. 43200 IN NS ns2.flexwebhosting.nl.
damza.com. 43200 IN NS ns3.flexwebhosting.com.The subdomain settings seem right – but you haven’t added that to the blog, just the main domain.
What exactly should happen?
