Changing the DNS manager from godaddy to wordpress

    Hello there…

I am having a hard time figuring out how to change the DNS manager of my website www. pocketvenusjosan.org. Originally, it is connected with a different web host. It was connected to godaddy.com. I know that there is an option on wordpress where instead of it linked to godaddy, my host can be wordpress. Can I get instructions on how to change the DNS manger from godaddy to wordpress?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It looks like your domain is not pointing to WordPress.com name servers yet. Please go to your domain registrar’s site and log into the control panel. You will need to update the name servers as below:

    NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
    NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
    NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

If you need help with this, contact GoDaddy support at: http://support.godaddy.com/?ci=55601

    Thank you!

What happened is my website name got expired in both wordpress and godaddy. Right now it seems like my server name is up for auction at godaddy. Does the name server update still apply if I want my main domain manager and host to just be wordpress and I dont want my web name to be linked with godaddy anymore?

We currently don’t take incoming domain transfers, that’s why you have the existing domain mapped to WordPress.com. The domain is registered at GoDaddy. Please contact them to renew the domain: http://support.godaddy.com/?isc=GPPT04C001&ci=55601 if you don’t want to loose it.

Note that canceling a domain (or letting it expire) means you completely give up ownership of the domain and can take up to 35 days before it will become available to register somewhere. Even then there’s always a risk of someone else registering the domain before you.

    Thank you.
