Changing the editor's name and stickys

Hi: I’m a newbie and have a couple of questions. First, when I opened the blog, myself (admin) and my partner added the content. All the content now says it came from me. What I’d like to do is have mine stay with me and my partner’s have his byline. How would I do that? I have sent him an invitation to be an editor but for some reason it hasn’t worked. Let me know.
The second question has to do with sticky’s. When I make a post into a sticky, the entire post shows up in the rotation on the front page. I’m looking for just a paragraph, image and link to the post. Can you let me know what I need to do for that? OK, just figured out a 3rd question.
