Changing the existing website name to move to Personal Plan

  Hi,
  I would like to change my existing site name and also upgrade to Personal Plan which gives me a custom domain name. I just wanted to know if this will affect my existing followers.
  If they type my current address, will they be redirected to the new site?
  Also I am hoping that my current content in the site will not be lost.

  Hi there,

  You won’t lose any followers or content by upgrading. Your followers will still see your posts in the Reader or via email notification as they currently do, and the old URL will also still work along with the new one, so even old links you’ve shared online will still take people to your site.
