Changing the font of the TITLE line from bold to normal
-
Today, I copy-pasted a line from a separate Word file into the title line. It was in bold typeface, and it now appears in bold in the blog, as well as in the recent posts block on the left, as well as in the email notification, where it appears with ‘‘ before and after the title line text.

This happens for the first time. I guess it is part of some changes that you introduced during this past month.
How can ‘de-bold’ or ‘de-strong’ the title line?
In general, there should be a way to edit the format of the title line after publication.

OK, this is funny. The WP editor transformed “<.s.t.r.o.n.g.>” that I included in my request above to actual strong font.
So, to clarify: How can I ‘de-bold’ or ‘de-strong’ the title line? -
You can quickly fix that by deleting and re-typing the title. If you don’t want to re-type the title, you can copy it to a plain text editor (Windows Notepad, macOS TextEdit).

Hi fstat,
Thanks for the quick response to the tag!
So simple and so effective …
For the record, I tried to edit the title, which is impossible, but didn’t think of simply deleting it. It might be helpful to implement some feature that would indicate the possibility of limited editing, like the little menu that pops up while editing the text.
Cheers
