Changing the Freeze Frame in VideoPress

I have the videopress upgrade. When I upload a video the system seems to randomly choose a frame to use as a freeze frame in my post. Is there a way that I can change the particular frame that is chosen. Right now the video that is posted on my blog sits there frozen on a frame 6 seconds in. Then when you click play it goes to the beginning but I would like it to sit on a title frame instead. Thanks.

Yea this is a big deal for me too. Previously I have been able to set a ‘Poster’ frame with a flash player (Flashvars). It would be nice to have the same control over the VideoPress player.

Right now it doesn’t look like this is possible. It might be something that staff will end up adding in later versions of the Video player. I am sure of that ;)

But what is it using to pick the frame. It’s always a different frame, it’s not like it always choose frame 500 or something. So where is videopress getting the frame info from??? It seems impossible to me that this is not customizable.

There are apparently 2 options we are exploring. Hailin (who writes all the video code) is looking at each one as they have +/- for each. It is something that will be implemented but the exact solution has not yet been decided.
