Changing the home page’s name
-
Hello.
In my blog I changed the template last week using one (and I do not remember which one, I have tried a lot this past week) and after changes, the ‘home’ was named ‘paxina principal’, as you can see on the blog. The fact is that now I am unable to find this page again to change its name, since I have tried everywhere and nothing.
Anyone did the same? You know what this plan allows?
I know there are templates on which this page no longer appears (no home page), but know I’d want to change again the name of home page, and I just don’t know how I did it before! Thanks for the help
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The blog says “Inicio”, not “paxina principal”. Anyway, in themes with a built-in home tab you cannot edit the name of that tab; you can only change the language.

Excuse me, maybe I said wrong. I do see it in the first tab ‘Páxina principal’, in fact, ‘Inicio’ (home) is actually a page created by me, and it’s placed in the third tab.
I Know in themes with a built-in home tab I cannot edit the name of that tab. But I did it, I named ‘Paxina principal’, the problem is that right now I cannot find this page again, I cannot get to where I changed the name before, despite the fact that at some point I did. I think if the change could be with any template, but I don’t know in which one. Thanks for the help

As I already said, you cannot change the built-in name of that tab. You can only change the language, and that’s what you’ve done (in Settings>General).
“Páxina principal” and “Inicio” are the same thing. If you want a static front page, you need to turn “Inicio” into a child page, so that it won’t show up in the header, then go to Settings>Reading, set “Inicio” as your front and “Entradas” as your posts page.

That’s it!
Thanks a lot, Panaghiotisadam! :-)
The language I had in this blog was ‘galician’, and now it’s in spanish, so I have done the change I wanted.
