changing the languge not working

  i tried to change the default language in the options from the default english to telugu, but its not working. after saving and re-logging, i am still getting english when i open a new post.

  What browser are you using, out of interest? Is it Safari or Opera? They can cause problems so I’d definitely suggest trying something else like Firefox if you have it.

  Have you tried clearing your browser cache and cookies? It’s possible it has changed but you just can’t see it; clearing the cache might help. If it’s not that, I think you’ll have to contact support when they open to get advice.

  If the language in the blog does not change, then we do not have a complete translation file.
  http://translate.wordpress.com is where we do that and all help is very welcome.

  The language also determines where your posts show up at http://botd.wordpress.com
  If the language is not correct your posts will get little attention there because people will not be able to read you.

  Blogs cannot have 2 language settings.

  Thanks Mark. I was looking at some similar threads for advice but I couldn’t find any besides the usual cache and cookies routine. I’ll bookmark this in case it comes up again.
