Changing the logo in my header editor
-
I am not a code expert and my website was designed by an external company. I now carry out the updates. Recently, we changed our logo but I have no idea how to upload it to the website. I understand how to do it on posts and pages but it seems a lot more complicated on the theme.header.php. Please can you instruct me how to do it? Many thanks in advance.
My website is http://www.protech-solutions.co.uk

Is this about http://protech-solutions.co.uk/?
http://protech-solutions.co.uk/ is a self-hosted WordPress (WordPress.org) site and not hosted here with WordPress.com.
These forums are only for questions related to WordPress.com sites.
When you are on a self-hosted WordPress (WordPress.org) site, different themes have different control panels for changing logo. Although, here is what you can try though.
Login at http://protech-solutions.co.uk/wp-admin and click on Apperance > Themes on the left. Click on the “Customize” button for the active theme and click on the “Site Identity” button available on the left sidebar. Upload a new logo here.

I’m sorry, I didn’t realise this forum wasn’t the right one for me to use. Thank you for your help anyway. I tried your suggestion but nothing has changed.
Thanks again.

@protechsolutions2012, there is a dedicated Twenty Twelve support forum at WordPress.org where you can post for help.
