Changing the Look of New Dashboard

I absolutely hate the new dashboard. The links are light blue and too hard to read, plus there is wayyyy too much information on the main page of dashboard. How can a change the link colors so every thing is black and easier to read. Plus I don’t want my main dashboard page littered with all that information can I change this!

You can switch the color scheme back to the classic by going to users > my profile and selecting “Classic” admin color scheme and then clicking “update profile.”

Did that, but it still leave the majority of the dashboard white, instead of leaving most of the space gray like the old version. The white is hurting my eyes!!!

Hate the upgrade. The upgrade is downgrade in my book! I still have not gotten my question answered.

With the new version of wordpress, staff can make different color schemes, and you should make that suggestion to them via the support tab. For now, try turning your monitor brightness down a little bit.

Oh. Glad I’m not the only one who can’t stand it. I cannot figure out how to download photos. I go to the download photos page (pain in the …) and download the photo but then it’s not coming up on my post. Why make us have to go to another page to download photos? It used to take a second. Thumbs down WordPress.

This link keeps being posted and it’s not helping with any information on the uploading photos page. I know what what to press to get to the upload page. It’s the upload page that I am not understanding.

The upgrade threw me off at first. I thought I had a broken page in front of me. It took some getting used to but I kind of like it. Would be nice to have a few different layouts to choose from on the dashboard, though.

Problems:
One: Spell check doesn’t seem to work. at least it didn’t during the post I put up a few minutes ago. That sucks.
Two: It’s now More difficult to post Pictures in Posts. That Sucks. And if they think the way you have it set up now is easier, they must have a different dictionary than mine, because easy is supposed to mean less effort, not more.
Three: I Liked the fact That I could see how many words I’d put in My post as I was posting, But that’s gone now. That sucks.
Four: If I don’t click On the stats portion of the dashboard right away, it goes awry, It looks like it is focused on the top left hand corner of the stat sheet, which shows nothing, and I have to f5 the page to check my stats. That Sucks.
Five: I indent when I write, and when I left the page to look at stuff In another window I had to go back and re-indent every paragraph during my most recent post. I don’t want to have to do that. That Sucks.
I’ll get used to It, i guess. I love the site, But the Bugs in the system are just Killing me, At least until they get them fixed, could They maybe give us the chance to pick which version of the Dashboard we’d like to use? That would be cool. I LOVED the version I was using. I’d like it back.
Just venting.

I have more than one blog on my account and one of them does not have a tab at the top of my dashboard page, which is really a problem. How can I get it to show up?

I have more blogs than will fit up there. I have an “All My Blogs” tab. Do you? Click on that for a drop-down menu selector.

Hmm… no I don’t. The weird thing is, I had four blogs. Three of them showed up at the top but two of them were pretty inactive. I thought that by deleting one, my fourth one would show up, as it is one of my main ones, but that didn’t work. Now I just have two at the top.

I also hate hate hate the new theme…it’s hard to read, even in the classic scheme, and photos are way too complicated. change back please wordpress people!!!!

I find the new theme really difficult to read, even using the classic color scheme. The whiteness of the page strains my eyes, links are a pale blue that are difficult to read, and on the ‘stats’ page, all the text and graphics are shifted over to the left side of the screen rather than being centered. Is there any way to opt out to the old layout entirely?
