changing the menu colour

  Hi, I have purchase the Organization theme. The menu / drop down menu is lime green! I really need it NOT to be lime green and cannot see how to change this. Cn you please help,

  Hello there, Mel!

  The default menu color for the Organization theme is green, as seen in the theme’s demo:

  As this was a design element chosen by the theme’s developer, the only way to change it is with the Custom Design upgrade. With this upgrade, you have the option to change your site’s colors, fonts, and other design elements with CSS revisions.

  Hi, thanks for your help.
  Organization is not a free theme, I have paid $79 for it and really don’t want to pay another $39 per year to change the lime green menu. Lime green is hard to work into most colour schemes and from the themes description of ‘custom menus’ I understood this to mean the colour was editable.
  Can you advise on how I can take my issue further please?

  Unfortunately, a Premium theme doesn’t come with the Custom Design upgrade. I wish I could be more helpful with that, but those two upgrades are mutually exclusive.

  If you do not want that Custom Design upgrade, could I, perhaps, help you find another theme with a color scheme more to your liking? I’m more than happy to assist with this, if you’d like.

  Hi Melissa!

  I had one other thought, before you jump into the theme-hunt! As Organization is a premium theme, you do have direct access to the theme’s developers. While it might be a long shot, why don’t you ask them directly about the ability to change that color? While it doesn’t look as bright on their demo site, with your color scheme, it definitely reads lime.
