Changing the Menu colour
-
Hi there,
Is there any way to change the hot pink colour that comes with the Sela theme that appears on the top bar with the page options?
I’d like it to be white, but I don’t see the option to change it.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Sarah
Your site’s menu bar is turquoise when I open your site. Were you able to work out how to change the menu bar’s background color in the meantime?
-
Paul Jacobson – do you know if it’s possible to choose your own colour for the background bar? I’m only given the palette options and I want red as the backgorund.

Hannah – you can choose any colour you like with Custom CSS, which is available with the Premium or Business plans.
sairene – I see a turquoise bar on your site, but if you prefer white, you would need custom CSS, as mentioned above.
This is the basic code needed to customize the colours of the menu bar in Sela:
.main-navigation { background-color: #ffffff; /* change menu background colour */ border-bottom: solid #bb00bb 1px; /* change bottom menu border colour */ } .main-navigation a { color: #bb00bb; /* change menu font colour */ } .main-navigation .nav-menu > li > a::after, .main-navigation .menu > li > a::after { color: #4d4d4d; /* change menu separator colour */ }If anyone decides to upgrade and needs further help, just let me know.
