Changing the ‘More’ Text
-
Okay right now, every time I use the <!–more–> code, what appears on my blog is this:
“Continue reading ‘Post name'” and it’s a link. I have seen on others’ blogs that it can be simplified to something like ‘Read more’ or just ‘Continue reading’ or any variation thereof, but I don’t know how to change it.
Help?

It might be theme related, but you could try:
Go to edit your post. Switch from the visual editor to the html editor and look for “Continue reading ‘Post name”. Change those words to “read more” or whatever you like. -
Thanks for the suggestion, 1tess, but the HTML editor shows the code exactly as I typed above with no additional text and the visual editor shows a long thin line with a tiny box at the right end that says more… on it.

Right. I don’t use that feature, so I forgot it’s a different sort of link. Sorry about that.
