Changing the name of a blog which is mapped to a domain

    I want to change the name of my blog. It is mapped to a domain. What happens if I just change the blog name? (no moving of content, the blog stays mapped to the same domain). Will I lose subscribers/followers? How does it affect traffic via search engines? Any other potential problems with linking? Thank you.
