Changing the name of a page.
-
I know how to change the name of all my pages, but can’t seem to change the name of the “FRONT PAGE”.
Ideally I would like to delete this page altogether.
Help! -
Don’t delete it; that’s your blog. If you delete it and people go to your blog they’ll see only an error message.
Just make posts. They will be displayed in reverse chronological order with the title of the most recent at the top.
The words “Front Page” are coded into your theme and you’d need the CSS upgrade and a knowledge of CSS to change them, or you can just pick a different theme on your Design page. For most of them, there is no “Front Page” link, you just click on the title of the blog instead.

thank you! just another quick thing, is there a way to choose which order my pages show up in, or will it always be alphabetical order?
-
As far as I’m aware in headers it’s usually the order they’re added. In the sidebar, it’s alphabetical. There are a couple of workarounds, though:

In the editor mode when writing your page you’ll see at the very bottom Page order 0 just
change the # of the page and fall in order that way…. -
Oops here is what i’m trying to say.
In the editor mode when writing your page you’ll see at the
very bottom of the page [Page order 0] just change the # of
the page and they’ll fall in order that way too….Teck
