How can I change the name of my blog?

It looks like you created the blog alongthewayimetabodhisattva.wordpress.com and registered the custom domain alongthewayimetabodhisattva.com. It is definitely possible to change your blog address (alongthewayimetabodhisattva.wordpress.com) following the instructions here:

However, it isn’t possible to change your registered domain (alongthewayimetabodhisattva.com). Instead, you would need to cancel this one and register a new one. I can go ahead and cancel your domain alongthewayimetabodhisattva.com for a full refund if you would like. Just know that canceling a domain means it will be returned to the registrar and may or may not become available again for purchase. However, if you’re sure you don’t want alongthewayimetabodhisattva.com, just reply back to confirm, and I’ll cancel it for you!

I’ve cancelled the domain alongthewayimetabodhisattva.com and fully refunded you purchase. Please allow several days for the funds to be available on your bank account. The domain will be returned to the registrar who will decide when to make it available again for purchase.
