Changing the name of my blog
-
I am the owner of the wordpress.com blog, wwwfromthestoop and I actually blog at http://www.fromthestoop.com. Just today I changed the nameservers at godaddy and expect that sometime in the next 48 hours fromthestoop.com should point to my word press blog wwwfromthestoop.wordpress.com.
The issue:
I want to change the name of my wordpress.com blog from wwwfromthestoop to fromthestoop. Problem is this name already exists however, the wordpress.com blog fromthestoop has no information on it and is not setup at all. It is entirely possible that I am the person who created the wordpress.com blog fromthestoop and just forgot the username and password. In light of the fact that the wordpress.com blog fromthestoop is not being utilized, can I take this name over and change my blog name from wwwfromthestoop to fromthestoop?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

No, you cannot take over an existing URL. You can attempt to contact the person who registered it if they left contact details, or you can leave a comment on the blog and see if they reply, but that’s it.

Hi raincoaster, thank you for the quick reply. Could you tell me if there is a method to have my domain appear, fromthestoop.com, instead of wwwfromthestoop.WordPress.com once users arrive at my site? Thank you.
