Changing the Name Server – please help

    Hi! Here is what happened- I registered my domain on hostgator (thebottombunk.com) and then I signed up for a premium wordpress.com account with that domain name. After realizing that I prefer to use hostgator to host my WP account, I installed WP through hostgator and deleted my wordpress.com account.

    The install was successful but now when I try to login to my WP admin page I get this error: Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain.

    I spoke with HG support and they said that I need to have wordpress.com change the Name Server to be pointed to hostgator.

    I’m not sure how to do this as I deleted the account and can’t access that information anymore. Please help! Thank you! I have the information for the 1st and 2nd nameservers from HG.

    Hi there,

    The domain thebottombunk.com is registered through us (WordPress.com) and its name servers are pointing correctly to your site on HostGator. Are you still having trouble with it?
