Changing the Order of the authors in the "Author Widget"?

The default order apparently is alphabetical. Since we have two primary authors and two very occasional guest authors, I don’t want the guest authors to appear above the primary writers.
Is there ANY way to adjust this widget? Thank you…

Thanks for the link, but I’ve already read through that a couple of times. Unless I’m missing something (which IS certainly possible, I admit), it doesn’t answer my question.I’m trying to change the order of the authors listed. Try as I might, I can’t figure out a way to do that: either they all show up, or none.
Again, I appreciate your help, as always.

I don’t have multiple authors on my test blog so I couldn’t assist beyond what I pointed to. It seems the only option is:
Display all authors (including those who have not written any posts) or display none. -
