Changing the permalink on a page

    Hello, I am using The Columnist theme, which I believe does not support widgets on the home page. I would like my Twitter feed to be accessible from the home page, so I have tried to create a page that appears on the homepage and takes you directly to my Twitter.

    I am doing this because I have seen someone else who uses the same theme achieve this same outcome.

    I have tried and tried but I do not know how to achieve this effect! Help is much appreciated.
