Changing the photo attached to my site

  I’m trying to figure out how to change the photo avatar in the top left corner of my dashboard, right next to my domain name. It’s the photo that pops up when i type my domain name into Facebook or Twitter and I need to update it. Any one have any idea how to do this?

  That’s your gravatar. Scroll down to “Gravatar Email” here https://wordpress.com/themes/fictive/

  A gravatar account and an wordpress.com account are one in the same thing.

  Gravatars/blavatars (favicons) do not show up instantly after uploading them. Gravatar images are cached and frequently take several days to display after a change.

  Dashboard → Settings → General

  Do not keep uploading!
  Do not forget to select an image rating.

  To enable Gravatar display and hovercard display on your blog go to > Settings > Discussion and scroll way done the page to “Avatars”.

  Hi, thanks for your reply! I’m afraid none of the things you’ve listed seem to be showing up for me. I followed the instructions but when i go to settings-general or discussion there is nothing about avatars. No options to change. I can’t find anything in my dashboard regarding the gravatar hover card either.

  In addition, just to be sure I’m explaining this right, it’s not the photo that you see attached to this thread that I need to change. It’s the photo that comes up when i type the link in another social media site. That’s the one i’m trying to access.

  I know, super hard to explain correctly

  WAIT! Hold everything! I found it!!

  Thank you so much for your help. It was under WP admin – settings – general. Which i SWEAR I’d already searched. Sober October completely wrecked my brain.
