Changing the Position of Comments?

  Basically, I have a few unwanted posts but the problem is that there’s comments on them. I dislike deleting people’s comments but also, these comments are about award nominations and so they have links to them etc…. Is it possible to delete the post but move the comments onto another? Also, any suggestions would help :)

  you could try exporting your site, and opening the resulting XML file in a test editor and editing it, then import the edited XML file.

  I’ve never tried this, but I’m pretty sure the comment data would be exported into the XML file so you would just need to cut the comments from their current post, paste the code into a different post and voila.

  If you’d like, you could put the XML file on google drive or dropbox or something, and share a link and I could take a look at it, edit it and you could try importing it, if you’re not comfortable scouring through code.
