Changing the position of 'Tags' in my posts.
-
How do I move ‘Tags’ up in each of my blog posts so they are immediately below the blog post?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Bruce,
So I can’t really think of a clean way to do this as it will depend on how many tags you add, but what you can do it if you edit CSS. Please go do Appearance > Customize > CSS and add this:
.single-post div.entry-meta { padding-top: 100px; } .single-post .entry-footer { position: absolute; top: 80px; }Let me know if you have any questions with this!

Thank you, Grace. I have a question about typing in the script you sent me: Do I add exactly as I see it, that is, with ‘padding’ written under ‘post’, and the second curly bracket on a third line, by itself?

After entering the script you sent I went to my blog, but I don’t see any tags anywhere under my posts.

Hi Bruce,
If you look at your specific post page you will see the tags right under the Blog title. Here’s an example:

Let me know if that is not what you want.

Do you want it above the Share icons? If you do, replace the code that I provided you with this:
.single-post .entry-footer { position: absolute; bottom: 205px; } .single-post .sharedaddy { padding-top: 130px; }Let me know if you want to move it elsewhere!

That’s close to what I’d like. Unfortunately, some of the tags cover a few of the Share buttons, in the blog entry I looked at.

When I go to <2thisandthat.wordpress.com>, my blog’s URL, below all posts, there are no tags, categories, and share buttons. None of the five on the blog’s first page.
I was able to correct a few individual posts’ tags placements, but I suspect there is something wrong with the script Grace setup for me, that removes the tags and categories from the posts.
Thanks for your help. -
The code Grace gave you will only move the tags on single posts pages. It will not effect the placement of your meta content on the front page.
You can set sharing buttons to display on your front page through your dashboard at Settings > Sharing:
Check the box next to “Front Page, Archive Pages, and Search Results”

Thank you, Shawna.
Please tell me the name for the space below my blog’s title and subtitle—where it says ‘Home’?
How do I customize what is in that space? For example, I want ‘About’ to be there. When someone clicks ‘About’ they are taken to a page with my bio.
Thanks,
Bruce
