changing the site address/transfer of followers

    I want to change the address of my site but wouldn’t want to lose my followers – how do I go around it?

    Hi!

    On a related post, a staff has confirmed that changing the WordPress.com blog address will not result in lose of followers. You can read about it here.

    You can change your WordPress.com blog address on this page.

    Hover your mouse over the site’s address you wish to change. You should see a new button called “Change blog address” appear. Follow the on-screen instructions to change your site address to a new one.

    Hi there,

    If you follow the instructions provided by @strikebuys you’ll be able to change your site’s address and your followers will be transferred to the new address as well.
