Changing the size of posts slideshow

  Hi, I am using the theme Modularity Lite and enabled the homepage posts slideshow. The size of image in post needs to be at least 950X425 to be displayed in the slideshow. I find this requirement too big and would like to make a slideshow smaller. I also faced this issue in the Superhero theme for the featured images slideshow. How can we do that? Change slideshow size? Thanks
