Changing the size of the header in Sight theme
-
How do I change the size of the header font in the “Sight” theme? My title has 13 characters so at the default size, it looks too big and also hides the tagline
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hopefully, this may help you:
Use the exact code without the spaces.The space before the last word of a title is automatically converted into a non-breaking space, to prevent “orphans” (a single word as the last line of a paragraph). This happens no matter what the theme. The only way to override it is paste this right before the last word (minus the spaces):
& # 8 2 0 1;
That’s the HTML entity for a thin space: it will allow a line break between the last two words.

Hi, timethief. I tried your suggestion, and it helped a bit, but the tagline is still partially covered, and still looks too small in relationship to the title.

When I used Sight what I did is create a header image with the site title and the optional tagline in it. I then removed the optional tagline but not the site title from here > Settings > General Then I uploaded my header image here > Appearance > Header and I did not choose to display header text with my header image.

Is it possible for you to send me the URL to your site so that I have a visual of how your header looks? I’m not sure if I’m totally understanding the outcome from your description of what you did. Thanks.

I change themes frequently and I no longer use the Sight theme on my blog. Visualize a header image with the site title and tagline text superimposed on the image.

Ok, now I “see”! I like your idea about superimposing the tagline on the image. Interesting. Thanks for your help.
