Changing the slideshow

  Hi, I have bought the photographer-theme and want to cange my slideshow images. How can I do that?

  Hi there,

  The specific steps for setting up a slideshow and changes the slideshow images in the Photographer theme depends on whether it’s the home page slideshow or a slideshow on another page. You can find all the steps for either one on the Photographer support page.

  If you’d like more help with that, can you please send me a link to the page where you want to change the slideshow images?

  You can also get help with this directly from the theme author in the Photographer support forum if you prefer. :)

  Hi Thomas,

  Here are the Photographer theme’s instructions for setting up that home page slideshow:

  1. Create a Post.
  2. Set a Featured Image for the Post.
  3. Add a Category to the Post (e.g. Featured).
  4. Publish or Update the post.
  5. Choose the Slideshow Category within the Appearance → Theme Options settings.
  6. Click the blue Save Changes button at the bottom.

  Right now, your site is set up to use all categories for your home page slideshow. If you’d like, you can set that to a specific category so that only certain posts using that category will appear in the slideshow.

  Then, you can create new posts with featured images and add that specific category to them. Once you publish those posts, they’ll appear in the slideshow on your home page there.
