changing the symbol ‘>’ and replacing it with ”&.gt;’ the html enitity

    Since WordPress auto-updated to 5.8.2 from 5.8.1 I have a issue when importing new products via wpallimport.
    For some reason wordpress/woocommerce is changing the symbol ‘>’ and replacing it with ”&.gt;’ the html enitity. This is causing a issue with the hieacry of the import.

    Please could you advise how I can resolve this?
