Changing the theme color for Redhill
-
Does anyone know how to change the color of Redhill theme? I would like to change the menu colors because red doesn’t go with my theme.

You will be able to do this if you go to My Site > Design > Customise > Colours & Backgrounds. However, this is only available for certain themes. I have installed Redhill to my test site but there is no option to do this; this makes me think that perhaps Redhill doesn’t have this feature. If you want to change to a theme that has this ability, you can change your theme by going to My Site > Design > Themes.
You can find out more at https://wordpress.com/support/themes/custom-backgrounds/ (more specifically, https://wordpress.com/support/themes/custom-backgrounds/#setting-a-background-color). -
Hi folks, Redhill and a handful of other new themes don’t use our current color customizer. We aim to let folks edit that in the block editor. But with that feature not available yet, you have a few options for changing colors:
– Pick a similar theme that already has the colors you like. (Note if your current homepage goes to draft, you can bring it back again with the new theme)
– Use CSS to adjust the colors as you like. You’d need a Premium plan for this
Let us know what you’d like to do.
