Changing the theme on my blog?

    I want to change the theme on my wordpress-blog, and I have dowloaded one. But how do I install it?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    If your blog is at WordPress.com, click on Themes on the left-hand side of your dashboard, and find the theme you want.

    You cannot upload themes to WordPress.com, and you certainly can’t install anything.

    If your blog is hosted somewhere other than WordPress.com, then WordPress.ORG is the more appropriate site for you.

    I believe that this maybe the blog in question http://isacathrine.wordpress.com/ if so then there is no FTP access to wordpress.com blogs and as Andrew has said we cannot upload anything into them. We can only choose from the thme here . Appearance > Themes.

    There are many “wordpress” themes available on the internet and they are coded to run on wordpress.ORG software.Well, unlike wordpress.ORG insidivual blog installs for self hosting, wordpress.com is a WP-MU blogging platform. Almost every theme here at wordpress.COM was originally coded to run on free standing wordpress.ORG software installs. In order to run on wordpress.COM software they were “adapted” and here all those adapted themes are derived from shared templates.
