  Is there a way to change the image that appears when you post or text a link to your site?

  Hi there!

  The image that’s pulled when you share a link to social media or via text generally comes from the featured image that you’ve added to a page/post. You can learn more about featured images here: https://wordpress.com/support/featured-images/

  Please note that the updated featured image will not immediately show up on social media sites as they may have already cached (saved) the current image. Some sites have the option to fetch new images (Facebook Debug, for example). Others, like texts, will be updated after some time.
