Changing the Thumbnail Picture

    Alright, It’s going to be a little hard to explain but I think I’ll get it across. I am trying to change the Picture that pops up when I link my website to a friend of mine. It pops up a picture I once had as a featured Image. I need to know how to change that.

    How are you sending this link? Email, twitter, or is this similar to say when you post a link on facebook and it auto-fills a picture relating to what the link is about? if so, is the thumbnail a featured image picture that is also somehow on the main page of the site, so in theory, it would show up every time you link your webpage?
