Changing the time zone for posts

  Before I signed up (with an account — it is not a _blog_ account) I made a post on one of the blogs here and saw that the time indicated for the post was vastly different from the time in my area. How do I set the time-zone for my posts? Looking at the help topics, it looks as if the dashboard used for this setting (among others) is available only to someone who has a blog.

  Hi there. You probably mean you made a comment, as you can only publish posts on a blog if you have dashboard access.

  Time zone settings are set by the blog owner/admin and comments and posts on that blog will display the time the comment or post was published according to the blog owner’s time zone. Even having your own blog won’t change this, as you’ll only be able to change the settings for your blog, not for someone else’s.
