Changing the title of a page on my blog
-
I have had a WordPress blog for my writing for several years, and been very happy with it, but as I begin to shift the focus of my work to freelance editing rather than writing, I was going to update things around my blog to reflect that. One of those changes was going to be changing the ‘Why I Write’ page to one describing my credentials (university experience, etc.), now titled ‘Secret Third Option Editing’. I edited the page and successfully changed the URL and everything else, but when you go to the site, the page still appears as ‘Why I Write’. This is not going to be helpful as an introduction to things if the whereabouts of the information are invisible to everyone but those who already know about it.
I have tried everything I know to get the appearance of the page (when viewed from any other page) to match the new title and URL. Am I missing something enormous and right in front of my eyes?
(Websites are not my area of expertise, but I have tinkered with WordPress many times throughout the years, in the course of keeping this blog.)
Thank you!
