changing the URL of one of my blogs to the URL another of my blogs

  I have two wordpress blogs and I wanted to change my main blog to the address/URL of the other (which I never use). I’ve changed the first one’s address to free up the URL I want, but now when I go to update the second one to the URL of the first (that I just changed from so it would be free), it tells me it’s already taken.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I’m sorry but we cannot provide accurate answers to any blogger who fails to provide the exact URLs starting with http:// for the exact blogs they refer to so we can verify where they are hosted. Please do that now.

  Sorry. The blog I want to change from is http://www.athnamasdotcom.wordpress.com. The URL I want to change to, that I just let go from my other blog, is http://www.samdollimore.wordpress.com.

  To prevent accidental or inadvertent deletion of blogs, there are multiple warnings given that blog deletion is permanent and irreversible. Lastly, a verification link is sent in an email and it must be clicked to delete a blog. If clicking that link does not work then copy and paste it into your upper browser window and click.   You can register another .wordpress.com blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/

  Then if you wish to you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade because it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.
