Changing the wordpress url

  I just created a blog, not knowing that wordpress creates a url of your user name rather than the blog itself.

  I would like to change the url to be the name of the blog as opposed to my user name.

  Am I able to change the blog’s url to the name of the blog?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  No, you cannot change it. What you have to do is go to “my blogs” in your dashboard and click on the link at right to create a new blog with the URL that you want. Then you can change the first blog to “private” and keep it to test things out such as trying new themes and such, a test blog if you will.
