CHANGING THEME

HI, i WOULD LIKE VERY MUCH TO CHANGE THE THEME i HAVE BEEN USING UNTIL NOW, REGULUS, AND START USING GARLAND INSTEAD, TO OBTAIN A LARGER WRITING AND READING AREA.
A SUPPORT EMAIL FROM WORDPRESS ASSURED ME THE OTHER DAY THAT i SHOULD BE ABLE TO DO SO WITHOUT PROBLEMS, AND EVEN BE ABLE TO GO BACK TO MY ORIGINAL THEME, IF i SO CHOOSE. BUT TO CHECK FOR THE WIDGETS i HAVE INSTALLED, BECAUSE i MAY NEED TO INSTALL THEM AGAIN. ALL THIS IS OK,
BUT A FRIEND SUGGESTED THAT i MIGHT ALSO HAVE PROBLEMS WITH PEOPLE WHO HAVE ALREADY PUT MY BLOG IN THEIR BOOKMARKS OR FAVOURITE FOLDERS, THAT THEY MAY NOT FIND MY HOME OR OTHER PAGES ANYMORE IF I CHANGE THEME. IS THIS TRUE? I HAVE PUT IN A LOT OF POSTS AND PAGES THE LAST FEW MONTHS, AND i DON’T WANT TO LOSE THE LITTLE FOLLOWING i GOT SO FAR.
THANKS FOR ANY HELP. PAOLA EMMA

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I would very much like you to stop typing in all capital letters. It’s hard to read and it’s considered to be the cuber space equivalent to shouting into someone’s face.

Its’ easy to change themes and changing themes has nothing whatsoever to do with URLs being bookmarked. The blog’s URL remains the same no matter how many times you change themes. I have nigh onto 4 years experience with theme changing and I say your friend is wrong .

Also consider this: readers come to your blog to read your posts, and like your friends in off-line life they remain your friends even if you your clothes, right? ;)

That being said, I do recommend placing all widgets in the Inactive Widgets box at the bottom of the page prior to changing themes.
