changing theme

  I’ve played with different themes and I think I’d like to change the theme I use with my blog (currently white as milk). Thinking about twenty-twelve. But I have 700+ posts, many with small illustrations and I’m worried about whether everything will be changed successfully if I go ahead, and how long it might all take. Do you have any advice or reassurance? Many thanks…

  Hi there,

  Theme changes are instant, and your content should not be affected in any way. The theme only controls how content is displayed, but doesn’t itself make any changes to your content.

  If you want to make sure your site will still look okay on a new theme you can preview a theme without activating it. Go to My Site ->Themes and click the Try and Customize option on a theme. That will open a preview in the Customizer, but the theme will only be activated on your site if you click the Publish button in the Customizer.
