Changing theme and social media sharing counts~

  I consider changing theme for my page, and I saw a lot of pretty themes ,Its just that when I previewing it – it looks like my facebook likes and other sharing counts -disappeared on a preview mode. What will happen to those social media sharing count (likes & shares) if I change to new theme? I’ve been googling topics about these and I can’t find any answer, hope someone can help me on this. Although the wordpress like button shows unchanged on preview but the “wordpress Share This” buttons shows zero count. Will it start to zero count again?

  Share counts should not be affected by changing themes, the theme previewer aside. Most likely the previewer just isn’t set up to show that information.

  Correct, just confirming that sharing counts are not affected when changing themes; Live Preview just doesn’t display the counts.
