Changing theme does not work

    I started off with one theme but changed my mind and have tried to apply the Edin theme instead. However, everything looks wrong; the header is stuck below the header image (and not above it, as in the Edin demo). The ‘intro’ text, which in the demo is lying on top of the header image, is underneath a page headline (which the demo hasn’t got at all). The ‘grid’ page cannot be applied, regardless of how I try to follow instructions (the child page instruction doesn’t fit the set up of Edin customze dialogue box). I am tearing my hear and am generally ready to give up. What is going on?
