Changing Theme – what happens to subscribers
-
If I change my theme, will I lose my subscribers? My blog is thefirstdayofspring.net. I want to look into changing the theme and try a new one, but don’t want to lose my subscribers and am scared to press any buttons. Please let me know.
Also, the font and view of my blog is now very small. Like it needs to be zoomed or something. I don’t know what I pressed to make that happen but you can hardly read it now. Any suggestions?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Katie!
If I change my theme, will I lose my subscribers?
Absolutely not! The followers are “connected” to your site, not the theme. Feel free to adjust the aesthetics of your site. Your followers will still receive notifications of your new publications, without any interruption.
Also, the font and view of my blog is now very small. Like it needs to be zoomed or something. I don’t know what I pressed to make that happen but you can hardly read it now.
First, you may want to make certain that this is not an effect of your browser settings, rather than the site itself. When I look at your site, the font is really clear and legible.
You can zoom to the actual size of your site to make certain. Open your site in the Chrome browser, click View in your menu, then Actual Size. Then you can be sure that you’re seeing what your visitors are viewing.
If this is still too small for you, please click the link below:
https://thefirstdayofspringdotnet.wordpress.com/wp-admin/customize.php?Click Fonts. Where you see the little box (with a number inside) next to the font choice for your Headers and Body text, you can make your adjustments. Just click on that box, and choose a new size. Then, make sure to save and publish your changes.
I hope this helps! If you have any other concerns, drop me a note. Thanks much!
