Changing themes

  Changing themes, don’t want to re-do all the widgets. Can I just switch from one to another, and have the links widgets remain intact ? (free theme, free .com blog)

  You can go here Dashboard > Appearance > Themes and select a theme and activate it as many times as you choose to. After you change your theme all you need to do is go here Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets > Inactive Widgets re-install them where you want them to appear. The widget contents and settings will be the same as they were prior to changing themes.

  The contents of widgets are not changed when we change themes. Specifically, what did not work?
