Changing Themes

  I am thinking of changing to a different theme, what do I have to save befre I do it or does everythong come over when i hit the button ?

  Just the contents of your text widgets. They SHOULD transfer over to the new theme, but sometimes they don’t.

  I agree with raincoaster. What I do before changing themes is drag all my text widgets out of the sidebar widgets box and drop them into the Available Widgets box. When we activate a new theme it will provide a default widget display. All we need to do then is to go here > Appearance > Widgets and place the widgets we want in the sidebar(s) including the ones we put in the Available widgets box. When we do that we override the default widget display that the new theme provides.
