Changing themes and problems with featured images
-
Is there an easy way to run a search for themes that do not support featured images? I have a million featured images set up in my current theme and if I switch to another theme that supports them, I usually end up with duplicate images in every post.
Alternatively, is there a single global command that would delete all my current featured images before I change themes?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

There is no filter for featured images – sorry. :(

No, but I’m pretty sure Staff could create and run a script to shed of them. ;)

I think deleting all the featured image info prior to being SURE that you wanted to switch permanently to a non featured image theme would be a bad idea.
There might be some CSS that could hide the featured images on a non-featured image theme while retaining the data should you ever want to switch to a featured image theme again.
