Is it possible to change themes without losing the existing blogs and pages?

Can it be done without losing content?

    Any suggestions appreciated!

Please give the URL of your blog when you ask a question here (or link your nickname to your blog as explained in the Sticky “8 Things to Know”). We get a lot of wrong visits, so first we need to make sure it’s a wp.COM blog. Second, in order to give an applicable answer, we often need to check things in the blog itself.

Yes of course you can change themes without losing content (posts, pages, links etc. aren’t affected). Things you should note:

    – If you have added widgets, you must remove them and save changes before switching to the new theme, then add them again after switching.

    – The only content you may lose is that of text widgets, so you’d better copy their content first and save it in a simple text editor.

    – A few themes don’t have widgets.

    – Some themes have no page tabs in the header, so if you have pages you’ll need to add the pages widget.

    – Some themes allow you to have a custom header image, others don’t.
