Changing to a new theme

  Hi – Am quite new at this, and learning by following my nose. The new theme Selecta looks perfect for my style of blogging so far, (more photos than text) but have been unable to work out if it’s possible to just convert my already created blog to a new theme, or whether I would have to start a new blog in that style theme. Would love to have my past few months’ content appear in the new style instantly! Is that possible? Many thanks for any insights you can offer. :o)

  Generally it is just a matter of switching themes. Is this the site you are talking about, http://kasuncion.wordpress.com/ ?

  Selecta has some interesting features. You should also check it out in the Theme Showcase http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/selecta/ and the demo site linked there.

  Eeek….so I clicked on the link to my blog above and found my blog with the new theme already! Did I make that change successfully the other night, or did someone else do it for me?? Now I’m totally confused! Feel like I’m going round and circles in the wordpress site…….. eventually, it should all make sense….. Thanks.

  Typical! Somehow it looks a bit empty. Seem to remember there were other boxes to the left…. Where does one go in the drop-down menu for your own blog to add the extra features of the theme?

  kasuncion, it looks like your sidebar has dropped to the bottom of the page on the main page and it’s something in this post that has caused it.
